Originally from Adelaide, Australia, Todd James has spent the last decade based in Berlin — playing, teaching, producing, and exploring the space where rhythm meets healing.

Trained as a classical percussionist at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Todd has played Lollapalooza Berlin, Melt, and Sziget, toured internationally with The Trouble Notes, Beranger, and Mantra Tribe, and spent four years signed to Sony Germany.

In recent years he has expanded beyond the drum kit — into music production in Ableton Live, immersive sound journey facilitation, and breathwork. His performances weave live looping, acoustic healing instruments, and electronics into ceremonial group experiences.

Todd offers private drum lessons in Berlin, bringing the same presence and intention to one-on-one teaching that he brings to the stage.
